SB Squarepants took a break from flipping crabby patties to collaborate with the one and only Karl Lagerfeld, head designer for Chanel and the results are …are you ready?

Not only is SB covered in gold but check out the black fingerless gloves, leather boots and Chanel shades…this is one fashionable sponge!
The new and improved SpongeBob was created by Lagerfeld and auctioned off at a charity gala to benefit the World Wildlife Fund fetching the highest amount bid at the event - 1,000 euros, about $1,500 US dollars.  
Even I, a bargain shopper at heart, would pay up for Bob Qui but no such luck, someone else did and it’s a good thing too cause  it’s all for a good cause supporting WWF and their mission to preserve our planet.
