I don’t know about you but I still love cartoons and these days, nothing is better than watching them with Jacob.  He loves Dragon Ball Z Kai, Pokémon and Avatar which I could take or leave but when The Mighty B! comes on, well that’s our favorite to watch together. 

Co-created by Amy Poehler, it’s hysterical, honest and fun and although I only get to indulge for less than 15 min in the morning while eating, dressing, brushing and running, I think it’s one of the best cartoons on TV these days.  But back in the day?  Man, that makes me sound old and these will most definitely show my age but I’m sure you all remember the likes of Tom and Jerry, Woody Woodpecker, the Jetsons and of course the Smurfs.  They were my favorite and not only did I watch every episode and collect every miniatures but I thought that Smurfette was just the coolest so you can imagine my surprise when I opened this month’s Bazaar to find her all decked out in designer duds…I think they should change her name to Lucky Smurf!
