Mother's Day Love!

When I became a mother everything changed...
Well not really but I did fall in love all over again and become acutely aware of other moms and dads and their approach to parenting.
I'm not saying any one way or my way is the way to raise successful, smart and independent children but it would appear that I'm doing a pretty good job!  Why do I bring this up?
Well...today, Mother's Day, Jacob presented me with the most beautiful and sincere homemade card and his words made me cry.  Cry from joy, from pride and from the realization that he is growing up to be the kind of kid I always dreamed of and is now the kind of person I've always admired!
Feels like success...
