Yom Kippur confessions
I say that not really knowing what a good Jew is but I'm guessing that I don't qualify.
I never go to synagogue...
I know very little about the religion even after years of Hebrew school...
I waver on the subject of god -who, what, where and even if...
What I am pretty good at, and may very well redeem me in the eyes of the chosen people, is my love for family, fun and food and isn't that what life is all about?
Some may say that THAT is a religion on to itself so, on this day of atonement let's forgive and forget and believe in the religion of self and be the best self you can be!

What a week!
After a crazy work week, finally getting around to catching up on life.
Monday I had the opportunity to jet over to my fave city for a fun night of dinner and a show but not just any show.
Celebrating 20 Years Disney On Broadway at the Amsterdam theatre in New York was non-stop entertainment that included performances by most of the original cast members from Aladdin to Phantom of the Opera...
We started the night with a fabulous dinner and drinks at Aureole and ended all too quickly with a chauffeured ride back to Philadelphia...

Mad Kitchen Scientist I am!
Preheat the oven to 500 degrees F.
Place the cauliflower florets in a large saute pan or a roasting pan. Drizzle the olive oil over the cauliflower, and season with the garlic, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Place the saute/roasting pan in the oven and cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally to ensure even roasting. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with the Parmesan. Garnish with chopped chives and serve immediately while still warm.

Jacob and I entertained Saturday evening serving Lamb chops, rosemary potatoes, Brussels sprouts and cranberry pumpkin scones.
My little chef helped with everything from selecting the menu to prepping the brussels. ..yummy!!!
